samah satrau ca mitre ca tatha manapamanayoh
sitosna-sukha-duhkhesu samah sanga-vivarjitah

tulya-ninda-stutir mauni santusto yena kenacit
aniketah sthira-matir bhaktiman me priyo narah

TRANSLATION

One is neutral towards friends and enemies, who is same in honor and dishonor, heat and cold, joy and pain, free from the attachment for fruits of action, those who remain same in criticism and praise, who is taciturn and thoughtful, is contented with whatever he gets, who doesn’t care for any house and resolute in mind. Such a man full of devotion is very dear to Me.
