yatha sarva-gatam sauksmyad akasam nopalipyate
sarvatravasthito dehe tathatma nopalipyate

yatha prakasayaty ekah krtsnam lokam imam ravih
kshetram ksetri tatha krtsnam prakasayati bharata 

 

 

TRANSLATION


As the ubiquitous sky does not get defiled because being subtle, similarly, the self pervading everywhere in the body never gets defiled. Like just one Sun illuminates the whole universe, similarly, O Bharata! In all bodies, just one Ksetra (The Almighty) illuminates the light of the life.
