srotram caksuh sparshanam ca rasanam ghranam eva ca
TRANSLATION
Which ever body the embodied soul enters or from which ever body it departs, while departing it takes away the five senses from the body as the air blows away the stink from the stinky places. The embodied soul, by relying upon ear, eye, sensation of touch, tongue, nose and the mind enjoys anything perceived by the senses.
