yad aditya-gatam tejo jagad bhasayate ’khilam
yac candramasi yac cagnau tat tejo viddhi mamakam

gam avisya ca bhutani dharayamy aham ojasa
pusnami causadhih sarvah somo bhutva rasatmakah

 

 

TRANSLATION


Know that the brilliance of the sun that is illuminating the whole universe, the effulgence of the moon and of the fire, to be Mine. By entering the earth, I uphold the living beings by My Energy. And by becoming the moon, I nourish all the vegetables.
