yasmat ksharam atito ’ham aksharad api cottamah
ato ’smi loke vede ca prathitah purushottamah

yo mam evam asammudho janati purushottamam
sa sarva-vid bhajati mam sarva-bhavena bharata

 

 

TRANSLATION


Because I go beyond the perishable and the imperishable, I am renowned as Purshotam (Supreme Person) in the Vedas and the world. O Bharata! The wise who knows Me as the Purshotam (Supreme Person), is the knower of everything and he worships Me with full devotion.
