
TEXTS 51-53 buddhya vishuddhaya yukto dhrtyatmanam niyamya ca shabdadin visayams tyaktva raga-dvesau vyudasya ca vivikta-sevi laghv-asi yata-vak-kaya-manasah dhyana-yoga-paro nityam vairagyam samupasritah ahankaram balam darpam kamam krodham parigraham vimucya nirmamah santo brahma-bhuyaya kalpate TRANSLATION One with pure intellect, controlling his mind with determination, giving up the five objects of senses, casting aside attachment and hatred, dwelling in a secluded place, who eats light and little, having controlled his speech, body and mind, always engaged in meditation, who has subdued his passions, having abandoned from false ego, false strength, pride, lust, anger and acceptance of things, who is devoid of impression of false proprietorship and is peaceful—such a person attains the Brahma.
