yada samharate cayam kurmo ’nganiva sarvasah
indriyanindriyarthebhyas tasya prajna pratisthita

 

 

TRANSLATION


As a tortoise withdraws his limbs in to the shell similarly he detaches his senses from the sense-objects, he has established the perfect and stable knowledge.
