apuryamanam acala-pratishtham

samudram apah pravishanti yadvat
tadvat kama yam pravishanti sarve

 sa shantim apnoti na kama-kami

 

 

TRANSLATION


As the rivers and lakes enters into the ocean, which although full, remains undisturbed, in the same way, when all desires flows into a steady minded person, the desires become fused in him, does not affect him and does not make him avarice.
