sparshan kritva bahir bahyams caksus caivantare bhruvoh
pranapanau samau kritva nasabhyantara-carinau

 

yatendriya-mano-buddhir munir moksha-parayanah
vigateccha-bhaya-krodho yah sada mukta eva sah

 

 

TRANSLATION

 

Ousting the external objects of the five knowledge senses, and fixing the eyes between the two eyebrows, making the inward and outward breaths move evenly through the nostrils, the person who has controlled his senses, mind, and intelligence, who is devoted to liberation, who is free from desires, fear and anger, is always liberated.
