yad aksharam veda-vido vadanti
vishanti yad yatayo vita-ragah tat te padam sangrahena pravaksye
TRANSLATION
I will explain you, in brief, the state to which the knower of Vedas term as Om; the state where the ascetics free of worldly attachments enters, and the state which is desired by the people who practice celibacy.
